Dr. Jessica Henderson
Dr. Jessica Henderson moved to the Central Oregon 16 years ago, when Bend was still a small town. She left a future job as an Aerospace Engineer and instead chose to find a town to pursue her passion for snowboarding and the outdoors. According to Jessica, she has the true Bend, Oregon dream, getting to enjoy her life in one of the best towns in the world.
Jessica spent several years in the Central Oregon community and was a patroller on the National Ski Patrol at Mt. Bachelor. During that time, she went back to school to become a dentist and graduated with honors from the OHSU School of Dentistry.
Jessica has been practicing in Prineville, Oregon for the past few years and has a true passion for what she does. She has a commitment to continuing education that could not be more impressive. While most dentists take the minimum required number of credits, 20 per year, Jessica averages over 100 credits per year. She is a member of the American Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentistry, the American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine, and the American Academy of Facial Esthetics. She is an officer of the Central Oregon Dental Society and has a lot of connections with other dentists and specialists in the area. More importantly, though, Jessica is a compassionate person who truly cares about her patients.
In the winter, Jessica and her significant other of 17 years, Emeric, can be found at Mt. Bachelor. You might even see her and her four Newfoundland dogs running around the parking lot.
If it’s summer, Jessica is hiking or kayaking with her dogs down in Sunriver, where they have lived since they moved to Central Oregon.
Jessica is not the mean, old dentist you might have had as a kid. She is a down-to-earth, friendly person who just so happens to also be a nerdy dental geek. Dr. Jessica Henderson has an enthusiasm for dentistry that is contagious. Make an appointment at Contemporary Family Dentistry so that you can meet her!
